A Present From the Dairy Fairy
Everyone has that one food they just can’t give up. For some it’s chocolate, for others it’s pizza, but for me it’s definitely cheese. Everything tastes better with it, I can’t have many dishes without it, and if I were stranded on a desert island it’s the one food I’d take along. I’d actually consider myself worse than Steve Eurkel in the state of Wisconsin when it comes to my love for cheese.
But the issue is that I find it very difficult to have just one serving. It’s my weight-loss weakness, and I’m usually reminded of this once I’m half a block deep. So, to cope with this dairy disaster, I’ve found a solution.
Thanks to Registered Dietitian, Marissa Lippert’s advice in my earlier post, “Can’t Fight Off Hunger at Work? Well Go Nuts!” I have become a huge fan of The Laughing Cow cheese products. Specifically I love their Garlic and Herb Wedges. At only 35 calories and 50 percent less fat than average cheeses per serving, they are something to thank the dairy fairy for. I’ve been putting them on everything from my multi-grain English muffin to toasted pita bread. Believe me they are completely satisfying and very tasty. And the best part is they are completely portioned controlled so you won’t overdo it (even if you do the entire case of it equals out to only 280 calories which is less than 3 dice size squares of cheddar cheese, holy cow!).

Say Cheese!
If you don’t think Garlic and Herb is your thing, there are other flavors that may be towards your liking. These wedges also come in Original Swiss, Creamy Swiss, and French Onion.
